MEDER MMS series MEMS Reed Sensor are magnetically actuated on/off sensors which are manufactured using semiconductor wafer technology. These sensors are designed for switching low power devices where size is critical. The MMS series is offered in 2 different size packages:
- MMS-B-X is supplied in a rugged surface mount package available in 2 lead designs (axial and gull wing bend) and measures only L2.8mm[0.110"] x W2.05mm [0.080"] x H1.2mm [0.047"]
- MMS-1A-V2 0 is the smallest package in a raw die form equipped with wire bonding pads and measures only L1.3mm [0.130"] x W0.90mm [0.035] x H0.55mm [0.022"]
They are available with magnetic sensitivity ranging from 1-5.25 millitesla and are tested to withstand up to 5,000 G's shock from any direction.
Manufactured using semiconductor wafer technology, MEDER MMS Reed Sensors are supplied taped and reeled according to IEC 286/part 3, suitable for auto pick and place equipment. These SPST reed sensors have a switching voltage of 3 VDC max., with 109 insulation resistance across contact.
Applications:
- Camera pill
