Reed Switch Actuation Perpendicular Position and Movement

Description

The permanent magnet is used in a perpendicular position at one end of the Reed Switch and is influenced by the outer magnetic lobes.  A single open and closure will result by moving the magnet perpendicular to the plane of the Reed Switch.

Two openings and closures can also be achieved by moving the magnet in both directions along the Y-axis.
